Darent Valley Hospital is a 478-bed, acute district general hospital in Dartford, Kent, managed by the Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. Clark Degnan provided full MEP Stage 4 & 5 contractor design for the refurbishment of the Paediatric Emergency Department at Darent Valley Hospital. The refurbishment was carried out over an accelerated 9 week programme within a live hospital A&E department, and was completed during the first Covid lockdown.

The scheme included the addition of new Accessible WC & Baby Change, Resus, Clean and Dirty Utilities, Assessment Rooms, Triage, Paediatric HDU, waiting room and Social Care. Clark Degnan were appointed by the Main Contractor Conamar, and worked alongside Norstead (mechanical) and MJ Electrical.
