The works included the replacement of existing inefficiency lighting with LED, heating pump replacements, air handling unit fan replacements and Building Energy Management System upgrades across the Baltic campus, Academy for Sport, and Construction and Automotive Skills Academy's.

The works carried out at the Academy for Sport facilitates the future connection to the Gateshead heat network project in 2022, as part of a major step towards Gateshead College's journey towards Net Zero Carbon.

The projects were delivered to a high standard, on programme and within budget.
