The project comprised of the re-purposing of their existing workshop No.8 to provide modern grade A office space to facilitate the relocation of staff from existing offices across the North East into a new corporate headquarters.

The refurbishment included strip out, external re-cladding and internal fit out providing three floor of modern office space with formal and informal meeting space, canteen, and communal space, and laboratories.

The project adhered to Siemens de-carbonisation initiative, and involved the removal of fossil fuel based space heating and cooling, with the introduction of electrically driven VRF heat recovery systems and mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery.
